The hotspring wing in the Hakone Highland Hotel is complete with open-air and indoor baths, Jacuzzi and a sauna. In addition, we offer a "Spa Nature" built around the concept of the "blessed effects of water" to enhance the relaxing effects of hotspring water.

Our hotspring bathing facilities

In the open-air and indoor baths you will find quality natural hot water, smooth and gentle to the skin.
In addition to the Jacuzzi which is great for massaging and body relaxation, we also offer a dry sauna for male guests for washing off sweat and refreshing yourself. The women’s hotspring baths are equipped with a mist sauna which is, unlike ordinary dry saunas, lighter on the skin and enhances skin texture and improves metabolism.
Enjoy the brilliant green garden and the blue sky during the day and the charming starry skies at night.

Using the hotsprings

When using the hotsprings,
we would like you to keep
the following points in mind.

Please refrain from taking photos or videos.
Individuals with tattoos will be refused entry.
Please use etiquette and observe cleanliness when using the facilities and show courtesy to other guests.
Do not place towels in the bath and please wash yourself thoroughly before entering the bath.
Please refrain from entering the bath when under the influence of alcohol.
Please refrain from entering the baths if you have any communicable disease.
For those who suffer from the following, we suggest that you refrain from using the baths as it may cause complications.
Heart disease, lung disease, difficulty in inhaling, injuries or cuts, low blood pressure, pregnancy.

Aqua Lounge

In the built-for-comfort Aqua Lounge, the gentle cherry wood texture of the wooden floor and the extra-large windows will increase the sense of being embraced in the nature.
The premises are barrier-free, with wheelchair-accessible multipurpose lavatories and step-less ramps, and we also offer a corner where you can freely drink the delicious Hakone water.
Unwind in the relaxation chairs while enjoying all the perks of resort life.

In order to enhance the effects of the "Spa Nature" treatment, we ask you to first drink the water before undergoing treatment.
